Wet weather warriors

We have made a donation to Newport youngsters so that come rain or shine they will be well equipped whatever the weather with their new wet weather clothing.

We donated 36 sets of overalls to toddlers at Fairoak Nursery School, near Caerleon Road, who will now be able to learn more about their environment through outdoor play.

Head teacher, Andie O’Brien explained: “We are committed to developing fun learning opportunities in the outdoors for children whatever the weather, so these overalls are just the ticket.”

Corporate Communication Officer, Karen Welch said: “We are always keen to support initiatives that encourage children to get out and about and learn more about the natural environment.”
